The Jump Shop in Shibuya Parco is one of 16 official stores nationwide that officially licensed shops authorized by Shueisha. Many people are most familiar with the name of the store through the weekly serialized manga Shounen Jump. The manga famously hosts popular series such as Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and much more. Fans can find exclusive merchandise of their favorites series and characters at these stores.
The front of the store has a giant manga panel with video showing off the popular titles that fans can find stocked in the store with merch and more. It’s a cool and immersive way to look back on nostalgic moments and maybe encounter a new series to check out.
Each store has lots of decorations and artwork so be sure to check out as many as you can when you visit. At Shibuya Parco they currently have a giant Luffy statue. In the past they also had a Goku one but they need to move it to make more room for stock.
On the back of the Luffy statue is some cool official artwork from the One Piece series along with splashes of manga panels from key moments in the series arc.
Shibuya plays a huge part in a series arc for Jujutsu Kaisen. This giant original art banner is very stylized and fits right in with he vibes of the city and features some of the series most popular characters. We promise Gojo-sensei is there too if you know, you know.
Check which of your favorite characters you’re closest in height to between One Piece and My Hero Academia.
There’s various quick souvenir machines that offer lots of different merch from medal coins to premium bromides of your favorite series and characters.
The store is generally separated into sections by series however decorations for all series aren’t always in the same spot as the merch is so be sure to look carefully. If all else fails feel free to ask a staff member for help locating whatever you’re looking for. This wall is mostly One Piece and Dragon Ball at the far end but uniforms from Kuroko’s Basketball are even on display.
The shelves are a lot shorter at this Jump Shop which makes it easier to take a glance at the whole store and for younger shoppers to peruse as well. Here there are a bunch of Haikyu!! character acrylic stands that fans can even set up with their own volleyball court.
Even more Haikyu!! merch on display from bags and stickers to t-shirts and plushies. In the far right back there’s also a whole rack of B-Side Label stickers because they do a lot of collaboration art with Jump series.
I love that the staff door is so stylized with Goku performing a kamehameha. To the left in the glass case is some of the best exclusive Jump Shop merch which are special can badges and acrylic stands dedicated to each Jump series character on their birthdays. The designs can change yearly so it makes these items very unique.
Finally the Jump Shop is also a great place to get information on the latest collaborations happening with Jump series. Here they’re advertising that a special Haikyu!! exhibit will be happening at the Mori Arts Museum from the end of October 2026. I may just have to go check it out myself as a big fan of the series.
Tips & Tricks
When to visit? Arrive early to beat the crowds. Most popular shopping destinations in Japan get very crowded from the afternoon onward especially on the weekend and some stores are forced to turn away customers.
