Hello all, I’m Kate the mom wearing many hats who’s lived and worked in Japan for over a decade and the main writer of this blog. Let me be the first to welcome you to our cozy little corner.
We’re a multicultural family trying to find that all too elusive balance between our otaku (nerd) passions and the new and exciting adventures of parenthood. From the challenges of living and working in Japan to the little moments of reprieve sitting down with our favorite anime or game to round out a long week, we want to share our stories, discoveries, and maybe a few laughs along the way.
