The Jump Shop in Ikebukuro Parco is one of 16 official stores nationwide that officially licensed shops authorized by Shueisha. Many people are most familiar with the name of the store through the weekly serialized manga Shounen Jump. The manga famously hosts popular series such as Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and much more. Fans can find exclusive merchandise of their favorites series and characters at these stores.

This Jump Store is absolutely packed with decorations and merch.

The red, white, and black theming of the store matches the Shounen Jump color scheme. It really makes everything in the store pop.

The usual signature Luffy statue was shiny and new at the store but the one that stood out even more was the bronze Bakugo statue. I believe this is the first store to host it but don’t quote me on that. They’re both quite large and great photo ops.

There was a whole lot of One Piece merch right at the front of the store. The straw hat designed items really popped and pull in fans and curious customers alike.

Jujutsu Kaisen had just released some new merch mostly themed after that one box that has Gojo locked inside including a replica. I personally thought the tote bag looked cool but a bit creepy.

The Haikyu!! section was packed with everything from plushies to figures and even stationary. There were lots of t-shirts of some of the main characters and key moments as well. It’s cool to see artwork of the characters as adults from the end of the series as well.

The Dragon Ball merch section had a lot of quirky items like the ramen bowl and cups and my personal favorite the Freeza trash can that is full of snacks. There are of course a lot of the more traditional items available as well including dragon balls.

Other popular sections series sections are speckled throughout the store. There are just so many series under Shounen Jump that they have to focus bigger sections to long running series and smaller ones are packed together. It was nice to see a full area of Spy Family merch still and of course classics like Bleach and Naruto are still around as well. There was a brand new area dedicated to a new series called Ichi the Witch that I’m sure we can expect an anime adaptation for sooner than later too with how much merch it has.

There’s a beautiful framed bromide featuring artwork from the end of My Hero Academia and signed by Kohei Hirokoshi the creator of the series.

I’ve mentioned it in another Jump Shop post but if there’s a Shounen Jump series you have a favorite character in this should be the section you check out first. Every main character, and quite a handful of side characters, get original birthday themed merch including large can badges and acrylic stands. There are even some acrylic blocks of some characters. All of them are very cool and colorful and unique to each year their birthdays are celebrated so don’t miss out.

Next to the merch were walls full of manga artwork of all the main characters from a lot of the big Shounen Jump titles. It’s kind of a like a trip down memory lane seeing all these series lined up together.

They have a board that advertises upcoming events in Tokyo including this upcoming Haikyu!! exhibit and a Jujutsu Kaisen one as well.

For a unique and cheap plus easy to pack souvenir the bromide machine is a must try. You can choose from your favorite series and characters and get a lovely high quality print out. There’s even a smaller version that comes with a keychain.

I highly recommend checking out the B-Side Label stickers and merch rack since they are really great quality and support some awesome creatives.

The gacha corner was of course chock full of Shounen Jump series and a lot of them some of the newer capsule toys released in the past few months.

Every Jump Store has a little stamp corner with a unique design which makes for a fun collectible if you’re a stamp hunter or scrapbooker. It’s a great little free souvenir so always have a little notebook at the ready since stamps are popular throughout many places in Japan. There were also free flyers for upcoming events.

In conclusion, whether you have the budget to splurge on merch for your favorite Shounen Jump series or not you should definitely check out the Jump Shop if you have a chance. The store itself is full of beautiful artwork and nostalgic series and there are plenty of free things to enjoy from full sized statues to a unique stamp to collect. Whether you’re a fan of manga and anime or have always been curious about them don’t miss out on this store.
