Nintendo Tokyo is helping to roll out the My Mario brand in a big way as its hands on experience offers visitors the chance to check out a wide variety of its merchandise. The brand includes not just Mario but also Luigi, Princess Peach, Rosalina, Yoshi, Bowser, and even Bowser Jr. along with other iconic items and symbols from the series.

Here you can not only see new clothing and parenting items on display in the middle but also toys for little ones and parents to check out before buying. It’s a great way to decide which items will be best for customers. As new parents and otaku ourselves we always appreciate opportunities like this especially in Japan where space is limited for the whole family so getting to try before we buy is helpful in making thoughtful purchase decisions. Also as our little one grows we know that what she likes to play with has also changed and evolved so we love the idea that she also has the chance to test things out.

The new My Mario play gym stands apart from others we’ve seen thanks to the fact it includes the game sounds and of course has the brand power and fun colors to go with it. It’s sure to catch the attention and inspire little ones as they level up their wiggling skills.

For those who still need a moment to think on their purchases there were brochures free for families to take home as well. On the back is even an activity page so they can be played with by children or parents who are still kids at heart.

I was surprised that in the brief couple months since I last posted about My Mario there was a huge addition of so many clothing items. They were all so cute we’re still debating on what we’d like to get. While our little one doesn’t really use cloth bibs anymore the idea of having her in casual Bowser Jr. cosplay is very tempting. The character jackets were also very fluffy and cute. I personally want them to come out with more Yoshi colors for the whole family.

I personally have been wanting to pick up the singing Yoshi plushie at the top of this shelf however a lot more caught my eye that I needed to hit the breaks and ponder on them until my next visit. It’s really easy to get ahead of ourselves as fans of the IP and collectors too. What I did find as a pleasant surprise is on the top hangars they had items that were designed specifically for parenting. That included a baby book cover for all the medical and other important things parents have to manage for their children and a diaper bag.

The official website has lovely detailed images of both. The cute designs and nice quality stood out to us. It’s always nice to have these kind of useful parenting essentials around and as a bonus with fun character designs.

There are so many more toys available now I was blown away. While our little one has aged out of the smaller baby toys there are till plenty for toddlers that we think she might enjoy. Everything from blocks to stroller steering wheel fidget toys. Of course the latest My Mario pop up book was also well stocked but we did notice the older ones weren’t. Perhaps they were so popular they already sold out. We personally have enjoyed the Yoshi themed one a lot with our little one.

These shower and bath time toys are simple yet can create endless combinations of fun for little ones as they get cleaned up. We definitely hope to check them out when our little one is a bit bigger.
All in all the My Mario brand keeps growing and shows no signs of slowing down. We haven’t even touched the surface on all of the items and even the application that goes along with the brand. As new parents and otaku we love to see this kind of merchandise for our little one and us as we continue our parenting journey.
Have you tried out any of the My Mario items yet? Which would you like to get for your little one or even anything you would have liked to play with when you were younger? Share your thoughts in the comments!
