Ginza Cozy Corner has a collaboration with Pokopia for the summer. The special Pokemon themed desserts released just in time for the new Pokopia DLC expanding to underwater worlds though the collaboration isn’t themed after this content. Fans of the Pokopia game and Pokemon will be delighted by these adorable and delicious treats.

The lineup featured a special collection of mini cakes featuring the main Pokemon in the Pokopia game including Ditto, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Mosslax (moss-cover Snorlax), Lapras (Ditto form), Pikachu, Peakychu (pale Pikachu), and Professor Tangegrowth.

It also comes with a special holographic sticker sheet featuring the Pokemon and Ditto protagonist.

The other item is a small personal cake featuring Ditto, Pikachu, and Peakychu. It’s a refreshing blueberry flavored sponge cake with layers of blueberry jam and yogurt flavored cream.

I ended up picking up the smaller personal cake which is the perfect size for a little treat for yourself. I’m so used to the Pokemon collaborations at Ginza Cozy Corner only have personal cakes that were banana and cream flavored to represent Pikachu so this was a nice change.

The cake was nicely crafted into layers like the mini cakes which made me reminisce about the blocks in Pokopia. The combination of flavors worked together to create a refreshing little dessert.

And it was topped off with a cute blob of a Ditto yogurt ball that is also featured in the mini cakes collection. Its slightly silly expression made me giggle but at least it was symmetrical compared to some of the fail Mister Donut Pikachu donuts from back in the day.

For those who aren’t craving cake or the store locations that don’t sell them there are also special Pokemon cookie and madeleine gift box sets on sale. Each box has a special added surprise like the Eevee themed box has three different designs once you open the Pokeball.

On a separate note it was also discount day for their cheese souffles so we of course nabbed one as an extra snack too. We highly recommend trying them out for another nice light sweet treat.
