I checked out the Pocketpair Palworld booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026. It was filled with just as many creatures and chaos as the game has become well known for. They really spared no expense in adding everything from activities, freebies, and all the silly meme-able moments fans are used to from the series.

Not only was the booth itself an impressive size but it also attracted quite the huge crowd. They also happened to have one of the best big bags as freebies.

The detailed statues were both impressive and filled with the same silly character that the game is known for. While at first the idea of cute creatures wielding guns and other weapons took some getting used to it eventually grew on us.

I’m not sure who decided it would be a good idea to get a frozen statue too but the staff was working diligently to make sure it stayed presentable throughout the event. Thank goodness it wasn’t as hot at the event this year as it usually is.

This panel really brought back memories of playing the game. These pals in particular are pretty infamous when attacking your base and causing mischief. If you know, you know.

You really had to stop to look around everywhere to appreciate how many details there were. Pals weren’t just nicely displayed on the ground and in some panels around the booth structure but even flying overhead.

While I didn’t have enough time to line up for the activities at the booth they did put them smack in the middle so everyone could see what it was all about. They made their mascot Pals into little ride buddies and of course added the exhausted/overworked expression to them to really make it silly. I was happy to see a lot of kids lined up since usually that’s who rides these kinds of things in malls or at events.

There was also a free photo booth that had a special photo frame and those who participated could get original Palworld wet tissues too. A great way to get two freebies in one and I loved how they had the cosplayers take the sample photos.

There was a whole army of the main mascot character Cattiva dawning silly signs saying things like they’re being forced to work which is also in line with the game’s humor. They would go onto the main stage and had a silly cinematic to announce their arrival.

The cosplayers at the booth were amazing and the company really did not hold back hiring so many to cover the main characters even the villains. They had wonderful sets to stay by which was nice too as many cosplayers are usually at the outside of the booths instead of inside.

As you exited the booth there was a huge back wall advertising the upcoming release of the Palworld official card game as well.

While I wasn’t able to catch everything the booth had to offer thankfully the staff did! Check out this full video of the booth including activities, cosplayers, and more.
